In this video, I’m going to guide you through a rap flow drill that will help you come up with tons of cadence ideas to make your flow more dynamic.
We’ll be shifting the starting point of our bars to create different grooves and building upon each cadence to see how many variations we can create from a single pattern.
Here’s how this drill works: just copy what I do and try to keep up! We’ll take turns rapping for two bars each. If you mess up, no worries—run it back and try again. And if you want more drills like this, I’ve linked a full playlist in the description.
We’ll be rapping over a beat I produced called The Hunt, which is available on my beat store
Now, let’s get warmed up with the 4, 8, and 16 count before we dive into the advanced techniques. LET’S GET IT!
